    Testimonials

    Feedback from past clients:

    S.C. Norwich, VT 8/23

"Susan, I can’t thank you enough. I don’t know where I’d be if I hadn’t had that session with you. Health is the foundation of everything, and that was a challenging series of ailments this summer. I am so glad to have the support of your remedies! I think fondly of your garden, the plants that assisted this journey, some of which are now in my compost pile and may feed some new plants at some point! I feel very fortunate to have connected with you and had that powerful healing session and also listening to you and receiving your wisdom. Both the rituals and the conversation, together, were so helpful."

    S.D. Los Angeles, CA 9/23

"When I first met Susan, she gave me a reading that opened my eyes to so many parts of my soul. I had never felt brave enough or ready to examine. Slowly, over the years of working with her, I have learned how to listen to my body and really dive deep into the parts of me that are difficult to see, and to approach that journey with love and compassion.

Your herbal remedies have guided me through the process of menopause, addressing not only the physical effects, but the mental anxiety and tensions that have arisen through various life passages. I am so grateful for your guidance and wisdom."

    R.W. N.C 4/25

"Susan's gardens reflect her love and reverence for the plants. Sitting with the plants, smelling, seeing, and tasting them; the vibrations of the medicine are clear and present. Susan merges her own innate wisdom with that of the plants to create well balanced, harmonious medicine that radiates through your being, bringing health and wellness to us as individuals, those around us, and the land from which the medicine is offered."

    S.H. Hanover, NH 10/23

"A cup of tea; a caring, intuitive, listening ear; a Plant Healing; a Crystal Healing - that was my introduction to Susan Hoffman.

Since then, she has been my guide with her open, loving, professional skills during a life changing time in my life.

Susan is a gift to my soul."

    Susan, Lebanon NH 6/22

"Susan, I wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful talk and healing session. It was very insightful and nourishing, and I felt some of what I was holding onto sweep away — and I have felt much better since seeing you. I understand it’s ongoing and piece by piece, but I am so happy and grateful to feel so much better — in my sacral chakra, in my heart, in my mind — and on a solid healing path now . Your healing place was so lovely and nourishing. Thank you again, Susan. You are gifted!"

    About Susan Hoffman

As a herbalist, who is deeply connected to the earth, the elements and the natural world, I realize that in order to heal, we must remember that we as humans are an intricate part of the web of life and not separate from it. The earth is truly our home and our primary source of deep nourishment and connection to the divine. It is through this connection that we find healing, meaning and direction on our life path. I understand that we cannot be healthy if our environment is not, as we are in our essence, one and the same. I am truly honored and blessed to have the opportunity to assist and guide my clients on this journey of healing and reconnecting.

    MY JOURNEY

I began my deep immersive study of healing over 40 years ago when I was in my mid-20s, driven by my own confusing, difficult and persistent health challenges. Like so many who end up in the alternative healing fields, I could not find answers in the Western medical model so I began what was to become a life long and circuitous journey through the seemingly endless maze of alternative healing methods and modalities. While this provided me with the great gift of a very broad and inclusive education in nutrition and the field of alternative medicine, it did not give me the answers I sought or relief from my own suffering.

Ultimately in 1994, I discovered my deep love of herbs and plant medicine through apprenticing with my first and most beloved herbal teacher, Rosemary Gladstar. Along with the magic and medicine of the plant world, I was also introduced to the concept that the emotional and spiritual state of a person can profoundly affect their mental health and physical body. For me, this was the missing piece and it opened up and expanded healing into the world of the soul and spirit, metaphysics, the quantum field and beyond. This cultivated deep within me an even more profound passion for understanding and embracing all aspects of the healing process.

I am a mom of two wonderful spirited humans and a grandma of a most delightful and soulful little one. I live in central Vermont on a small herb farm with my partner in life where we grow and lovingly tend the plants and aminals we share space with here. We make all the medicines and herbal products right here on the farm with love, intention and deep reverence and gratitude. I feel honored and blessed to be walking this earth life at this time of great change and possibility.
